Lunar and Wise Platform: enhancing cross-border payments for over one million people across the Nordics
We’re excited to announce that Lunar, one of the leading digital banks in the Nordics has partnered with Wise Platform to bring fast, secure and transparent international payments to over one million customers across the region.
The partnership builds on our successful relationship, with Wise already leveraging Moonrise, Lunar’s modern banking infrastructure platform, for seamless local clearing and payments across Scandinavia.
With this partnership, Lunar becomes Wise Platform's first partner in Nordics and one of the region’s leading digital banks to offer this experience.
This next phase of the partnership brings our solution to Lunar’s consumer and business users in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, allowing them to send money abroad quickly, securely, in 40 currencies, within their app - all at low cost. This experience is powered by Wise Platform that connects directly to 6 payment systems and 70+ licenses around the world, enabling 65% of transfers to arrive instantly - in 20 seconds or less*.
