Mission Update

Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Fees are lower, transfers are faster and managing your money is even easier. Check out what we’ve been up to since January to build the best way to move and manage your money.

£39 billion

moved around the globe in 2025 so far. Whether you were moving £50 or £500,000, you did it with minimum fees and maximum ease.

£380 million

saved by customers since the start of the year by choosing us over other providers.¹

You’re saving more than ever

Taking your fees as low as they can go

Our average fee is now just 0.58%.² The lowest in over a year. That means our average customer is saving 5% since last quarter — and spending 16% less on fees compared to this time last year.

It's now cheaper for you to do lots of things with Wise — like send US dollars via ACH, moving Indian rupees, or transferring money to Chinese yuan and Banghladeshi taka.

And when you send over 20,000 GBP, you get an even lower fee than usual. Now you can see just how much you’re saving when sending large transfers — and get tips on saving even more.

Because of operational costs and global events, some fees — like transfers in Japanese yen or Canadian dollar direct debits — went up. The good news? We’re consistently reviewing costs to ensure you get the fairest, clearest price possible.
Moving at full speed

Your money has places to be

We make sure it gets there fast. With other providers, your money could be held up for hours — or even days. 64% of transfers arrived instantly, and 95% made it to their destination in under 24 hours.³ That's 3% faster than this time last year.

Moving more money at lightning speed

If you’re sending over 100,000 euros, your money moves even quicker now.
1 in 3 transfers arrive in under an hour.

Your money, anywhere

Sending money to Vietnam, Pakistan, and Kenya all got faster since the start of 2025. On top of these changes, our new InstaPay connection in the Philippines means transfers to Philippine pesos are quicker and easier than ever — now landing in seconds.

Aussies, you can now get potential returns on your money

When you turn on Wise Interest, your money is invested in a fund of government-backed securities — so you could earn an estimated return of 3.16% on your Australian dollars, and 3.25% on US dollars after fees.⁴

The Wise Multi-Currency Card is back in the USA

The wait is over. If you have a personal account in the US, you can now order your Wise Multi-Currency Card to spend in person or online in 40+ currencies. No exchange rate markups. No high transaction fees. Just a smarter way to pay, wherever you are.

Hong Kong businesses are going global

Wise Business just launched in Hong Kong. Business owners can make a new account to get paid in 23+ currencies, make low-cost transfers to 160+ countries and manage all their global finances in one place.

Managing money with max ease

Keeping an eye on the
exchange rate

As exchange rates fluctuate, even the smallest change can affect the cost of your international transfer. Our new transfer calculator doesn’t just show you the live rate, but also the rate’s history. You’ll also see your money’s ETA and any fees upfront.

Making sending smoother

With the newest version of our fee calculator, setting up your transfer is faster and easier than ever. Fees and exchange rates are now clearer upfront. And you’ll know exactly how fast your money will arrive before you pay, simply setting an exact target amount while receiving guidance on what to do at every step. No guesswork, just a smoother way to send.

Sharing account details is now easier

Receiving international money like a local is simpler than ever. You can share account details for any available currency with a few simple taps. Plus, you can check key information — like when payments will arrive in your account, transfer limits, and more.

From Australia, to anywhere — use PayID® to send money

If you’re in Australia, you can now send any currency to Australian dollars using PayID at no additional cost. No need for account
details — all you need is a phone number or email address.
Your money, safer than ever

Use a selfie for account recovery

Lost your phone, travelling without signal or changed your number? If you’re locked out of your Wise account with no access to your phone number, you can now recover it with just a selfie. We’ll match your face to the photo ID you used at sign-up — so you can securely get back in, confirm transfers and stay in control of your money.

Security where it matters most

Scammers sometimes trick people into approving payments by pretending to be Wise. To help stop this, we’ve improved our scam warnings and updated the SMS for payment approvals. It now shows the merchant name and amount, so it’s clearer when something’s not right. More protection, when you need it most.

New spending controls for your Wise card

You can now turn overseas payments and certain online payments (those without extra authentication needed) off and on directly from your card controls. If a payment gets declined because of these settings, you’ll see why and can turn that type of spending back on instantly – no need to contact support.

Transparency you can count on

People and businesses around the globe lose tens of billions every year to hidden fees in marked up exchange rates — including $153 billion for SMBs in the US alone.

Save money by getting clued up on hidden fees in your area with our newly released research in the US, Singapore and Malaysia, Philippines, Belgium, or India. From checking the mid-market rate to steering clear of promotional ‘zero fee’ claims, small changes can help you save big over time. Already in the know? Share with a friend who could benefit from ditching hidden fees.

Wise Business

Get paid by card in the UK and Europe

If you have a business account in the UK or Europe, you can now accept payment by Visa and Mastercard directly to your Wise Business account. Add pay-by-card as a checkout option to your Quick Pay codes and invoices to receive money in 18 currencies for less. That means less money wasted on fees and more money to reinvest in your business.

Assign flexible roles to multi-user accounts

You can now set customisable permissions to get more control over what team members have access to on your business account. If you’ve previously set roles, existing team members will keep the same access, and you can review or update permissions at any time.

Download multiple currency statements at once

It’s now easier to download multiple statements in one go. Simply choose a timeframe, select the currencies and jars you’d like to receive a statement for and click ‘download’ — easy.

Navigate payments with ease

There’s now an expandable menu under ‘Payments’ to make it easier to discover new ways to manage your business’ money — whether that’s scheduling recurring card payments, setting up direct debits or creating invoices.

Groups page refresh

If you use Groups, you’ll see a new, streamlined layout in your account — making it easier to add, send and spend money. Plus, currencies and cards are now shown in a compact design for easy access.

The network for the world's money
